| Hello! my name is April and we are located in Newport News, Virginia. I have owned shih tzu since 2000. I work with my dogs mainly in agility. I enjoy the training and teamwork that I develop with my dogs through classes and competition. I am a member of Merrimac Dog Training Club located in Hampton, VA. This is where I go to train all of my dogs for obedience and agility. Some of my shih tzu are also registered therapy dogs with Therapy Dogs InternationaI. We go to nursing homes and rehab centers to visit with the residents. Therapy dogs are for emotional therapy and enjoyment. Litters here are not often. I only breed in hopes of producing beautiful, quality, happy, and healthy shih tzu that will perform well at the trials and become the ultimate companions at home.
